Hello, my name is...

Iced tea!

A cup of tea...

is the best thing that ever happened to me in my life.

I don’t think I have ever felt so alone in my life, and I can’t wait to get back to it. I’m not sure I want to be alone anymore, but I do want to be with you. And I know that there are people out there who care about you, even if they don’t know you well enough to understand

handwritten note saying "and I can't wait to get back to it" XD -- this kind of nonsense is my favorite type of output

Describe your childhood (attempt 1). My very first...

…iced tea, my mother’s favorite—the kind with just ice and water for sipping insteadof an icy cup that had been left too warm by now (she was pretty sure it would have done her head canon). I can’t remember what flavor combination she used; maybe something like lemon-lime or orange? But when you add sugar to make up those tiny little bits which give each sip its taste so well you know they’re good even before drinking them yourself

You’d think there must be some rule against children playing around their parents’ kitchens!

Describe your childhood (attempt 2). My very first...

…iced tea, my mother’s favorite—the kind with just enough sugar to mask its bitter taste and no more than half that amount for rounding it out into something lighter (I think). I’ve always been fascinated by flavorings; as an infant we were given soups made up entirely from seasoning packets or powdered foods meant only “to make things go.”

Describe your childhood (attempt 3). My very first...

…iced tea, my mother’s favorite—the one with all those tiny pieces that she kept for decoration only to be tossed into it when I was little and couldn’t remember what they were supposed to taste like (I think?).
